Cancellation Policy

Because our services involve advance payments to hotels, shortlet apartments, transport providers, day trip operators, event organizers and brunch partners, every booking made on dettydecemba.tripplug.com carries a firm commitment on both sides. This Refund Policy outlines how we handle cancellations, payment issues and service disruptions, while ensuring fairness and protecting the operational stability of our brand during peak season.
Once a booking is confirmed, it is generally non-refundable due to the upfront payments we make on your behalf. Many of our vendors operate strict holiday-season policies that do not allow cancellations, date changes or refunds once a reservation is secured. However, we understand that exceptional situations may arise. Refunds are only considered in cases where Tripplug is unable to deliver a service due to our own operational challenges—such as an overbooked accommodation partner, a day trip cancellation caused by our team, or a system error that affects your confirmed service. In such situations, we will first attempt to offer an equivalent or superior replacement. If no suitable alternative is available, we will initiate a refund for the affected portion of your package.
Refunds cannot be issued when a guest cancels voluntarily, changes their mind, cannot travel, fails to show up, or misses any scheduled activity included in their package. If you arrive late for airport pickup, brunch, a day trip or your accommodation check-in window, the service will be considered delivered as our partners allocate resources in advance. Bookings also cannot be refunded if incorrect personal details provided by the customer prevent completion of the service. Additionally, any service delivered by a third-party provider is subject to that provider’s own refund rules, which may disallow refunds entirely.
In cases where you can no longer attend, you may request to transfer your booking to someone else. Transfer requests must be made with adequate notice, and approval depends on the policies of the hotel, shortlet, transporter or vendor involved. If accepted, the booking will be reassigned without any refund being issued. If a refinery or partial refund is approved at any stage, the refund will be processed within 7–14 business days and will be returned through the original payment channel. Please note that bank charges, processing fees and non-recoverable vendor costs cannot be refunded.
